Walking and Mountaineering is a pastime that many do to relax and wind down. For others who take it that step further and use our mountains and open spaces to navigate a path of their own. At any time of the year Scotland is beautiful and walking is a sport that can be so varied this is why these courses are essential if you wish to go off the beaten track.



An introductory course in mountain navigation: The day will predominately take place in the hills, studying maps and completing compass work. This will enable you to measure distance travelled and avoid getting lost.



The next step, this one day course will allow you to revisit the skills learnt during the navigation day. Alongside this thcompasse day will include route planning and procedures if you do get lost.



A mountain expedition to include a remote over night camp: Here you will be able to use your navigation and mountain skills to travel from one destination to another. This course will give you the essence of mountain walking and complete self sufficiency. If you love walking this is the course for you.

Return Policy

Our goodwill returns policy, which is in addition to your statutory rights, entitles you the right to cancel within seven days of the contract, or seven days of receipt of the goods. Outlook Adventures clients will be offered either a full refund of the fee paid to Outlook Adventures or a transfer to any other course/date.
